Please join us this evening to celebrate our newest resident artist, Steve. We will be hosting a First Friday tonight, from 6:00-8:00pm. Please come, invite friends, and raise a beer to the talented new artist lining our walls. His work will be featured through the end of February.

Friday, January 7th 6:00-8:00pm
Beer & Wine will be served, and of course Coffee and Tea are available to purchase.

About Steve:
The influence that is most apparent in my work is that of vintage poster design. However, my intent is not to create art as if it belongs to a bygone era. Rather, I combine the idyllic sentiments of the past with contemporary influences to create a timeless image.

Art is more than a pretty picture. It is about the act of creation. This is what gives me my entrepreneurial drive. I’m inspired to build things – not just artwork – but stories, products, connections, and movements. “Creativity” itself is my fuel.

I grew up drawing in the suburbs of Chicago, then attended the
Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia where I studied
illustration. I subsequently moved to Los Angeles where I became an
animator for Nickelodeon Animation, designing backgrounds and
storyboarding for Hey Arnold! and Oswald the Octopus. It was while
living in California that I fell in love with the American west and the
mountains, a passion which lead to my current life in Colorado.

See you tonight!!
