Looking Back...

Today we are celebrating our 1st Anniversary… and what a year it has been.

Last September, when Brandon and Chris and I got together, to start planning this great adventure, none of us knew what to expect. We took over the space in a saturated market and poor economy. What we did know is that the three of us were busting with passion, desire, and knowledge of what it takes to run a cafe.

We opened our doors on November 5th, 2009. After tearing the newspaper down from the windows, the paint still drying on the walls, the three of us worked together to begin creating. Sitting here this morning, looking around in the early morning hours, I feel overwhelmed with gratitude and excitement of where we have come, and where we are going.

We are now providing tea to 4 high end Restaurants on Pearl Street. We are home to Boulder Open Coffee Club. We have been featured on Fox Business news. Amazing artists have lined the walls, some deeply rooted and established, others up and coming to the art world…

All of the successes we have had, though, would not have happened with out your continued support behind us. So as much as today is our birthday, it is yours as well. Thank you for making Atlas a home away from home…

Please join us tonight to celebrate with Atlas Purveyors family and friends. We will be having beer from local brewery Boulder Beers, a raffle with great prizes from local businesses, and come and celebrate what a year it truly has been.
